Interest compounded by interest
into the arts of placation
a poor life station full of frustration
intertwined with depreciation
and sullied with desperation
to reach the golden heights of pride
where nobody ever gets a free ride
by the new hope I will abide
to rise above the tide and glide
so realize the road to win begins
in that part of you located within
so you can begin the celebration
when you glance in the mirror and smile
saying you won the war of placation
